Warner Arms Henderson, ChFC®

Founder and Principal

Founder Warner Arms Henderson has been advising individuals and organizations in all areas of financial planning, with special interests in investment, retirement and charitable planning since 1975. Preceding the founding Aequitas in 1991, Warner was co-founder and Managing Director of TFC Financial Management, Inc. in Boston from 1981 to 1991. He remains a member of TFC’s multi-advisory firm investment committee. Prior to working with TFC, Warner worked as a Special Agent for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Warner is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Investment Management Consultants Association. He is a Financial Services Affiliate Member of The National Association of Personal Advisors (NAPFA).

Warner is Trustee Emeritus and investment committee member of the Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center. Over his tenure with Thompson Island, Warner served as President, Treasurer and Chairman of the Investment Committee. Warner is also Past Chairman of the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee Investment Committee and served on the Board of Trustees of the Van Ness Funds.

Warner is a graduate of Union College in Schenectady, NY where he earned a BA in American Studies. He has completed graduate level work at Union Theological Seminary, George Washington University and the American College where he attained his ChFC® designation.


Noreen Dillon Walsh, RMA®, MBA

Principal and Investment Planner, Chief Compliance Officer

Noreen joined Aequitas as Principal and Investment Planner in June of 2005. Noreen started her career in the financial services industry in 1994 as a Senior Trust Specialist with Mellon Bank. Prior to joining Aequitas, Noreen was a Financial Planning Associate and Investment Research Specialist with a fee-only investment management firm in Boston, MA.

Noreen holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Suffolk University and a B.S. in Business Administration from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Noreen also completed the required courses of the Certified Financial Planner® Program at Northeastern University’s School of Professional & Continuing Studies.

Noreen’s professional affiliations include National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).


Timothy B. Nash, CFP®, CFA®, CAIA®

Principal & Chief Portfolio Strategist

Tim joined Aequitas in June of 2017 after serving as a trusted advisor at four large financial institutions in Boston and New York over a period of 30 years. As the lead investment counselor for a top global Citi Private Banking team, Tim helped offset the outsized investment risks owned by real estate and private equity principals. Prior to that, Tim served as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Strategist to some of US Trust’s largest institutional clients, managing $3.6 billion in pension, endowment, foundation and trust portfolios. Tim also served as an investment advisor to major defined contribution plan sponsors while at Fidelity Investments in Boston, and successful entrepreneurs and portfolio managers while at Kidder Peabody & Co. in New York City.

Tim currently serves on the Board of Road to Responsibility, an organization that finds jobs and housing for special needs adults. He also serves on the boards of the Hingham High School Rowing Association and the Hingham Maritime Center. Previously, he served as a mentor at Middlebury College for students in the MiddCORE program and has served on various committees for the Hingham Congregational Church, the Hingham Yacht Club, and Black Rock Country Club.

Tim holds a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM designation, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation (CAIA®).


Michelle Fallon, MS, CFP®

Senior Financial Planner & Fixed Income Specialist

Michelle joined the Aequitas Team in January 2010. She provides financial planning services to our clients as well as specializing in the areas of Medicare Planning, Social Security Claiming Strategies and Educational Goal Funding. Prior to Aequitas, Michelle spent twenty years at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc. working on the Fixed Income Trading Desk finishing her career as the Municipal Bond Coordinator for the Boston Office.

Michelle holds her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Vermont.  In 2014, Michelle earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNINGTM designation.  In March of 2018, she completed her Master of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning.

Michelle’s professional affiliations include memberships in the National Organization of Professional Financial Advisors and the Financial Planning Association of Massachusetts.


Spencer R. Henderson, ChFC®, FPQP®

Financial Planner & Director of Research

Spencer is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. He is also a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®)  Spencer earned a BA in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.

He joined Aequitas as an Administrative, Technology and Research Assistant in June 2007. Prior to Aequitas, Spencer managed a historic theater in Exeter, N.H.  Spencer is currently on the board of the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts.


Mary Ellen Carlisle, MBA, CRPC®, FPQP®

Team Operations & Client Service Administrator

Mary Ellen joined Aequitas in October 2014 as the Team’s Operations & Client Service Administrator. Mary Ellen has nearly twenty-years’ experience in the financial services industry, including client management and corporate finance. Prior to Aequitas, she worked for State Street Corporation on their USIS Proof and Audit team as well as on their Wealth Manager Services team.

Mary Ellen earned her Master of Business Administration through Suffolk University’s Executive Program. She also holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Mary Ellen is a member of the Fourth of July Parade Committee for the Town of Hingham. She is a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC®) and a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP®).


Leslie Norton

Team Administrator

Leslie joined Aequitas as Team Administrator in 2015. She has over 20 years professional experience including 11 years at State Street Corporation where she worked with their audit, customer service and compliance teams. Her business experience reaches beyond the financial services industry. Prior to joining Aequitas, Leslie served as the Office Manager and Administrative Assistant at the Dianna DeVanna Center in Braintree, Massachusetts as well as the Social Director for the Kingston Yacht Club in Kingstown, Massachusetts.

Leslie earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Suffolk University. She is also a board member of the Pembroke Education Foundation and is past co-chair of the Birch Street Park Playground and Community Build.
